new gun idea for spiker replacement

the spiker is going to be redundant now that duelwielding is gone, but i think it should be revamped since brutes are still in te game and it was popular for them so i suggest the neww spiker be more like a pistol for brutes but it fires in bursts of say 5 spikes and does a little less damage than two h3 spikers at once but this new one has minimal recoil and reticule bloom. just an idea i just want the spiker back, any suggestions?

Because it isn't hitscan like the AR, the shots do more damage, but it's easy for opponents to dodge them, forcing the user to lead their shot at medium range for maximum effectiveness, which takes a bit of skill, especially if your opponents are quite far away from you. As a result, it operates bets between close and melee range, unlike the AR which operates best between medium and close range.[/quote] plus it has a slightly stronger melee due to the blades, this was easier to see in ODST
