Halo 2 on Xbox LIVE to be disabled on April 15, 2010
Today Microsoft announced that as of April 15th they discontinue Xbox LIVE service for original Xbox consoles and games (i.e.Halo 2). This includes Xbox v1 games being played on an Xbox 360.

To everyone who has played, enjoyed and supported Halo 2 for it's 5+ years of dominance on Xbox LIVE, we thank you! It is of course sad for any of us to accept the end of an era but it's been a good ride.
That said, mark your calendars now - on April 14th we're going to hit Halo 2 en masse for one last HOORAH, old school style.

Yep, you proved a GOOD Point, cause if anything - THATS What Bungie Might plan to do, release Halo 2 on marketplace but you need like proly a ridiculious 1600gp to play it lmao. I honestly dont care, long as they actually BRING it back, i miss the old days man, God, i cant believe they ended it. its not even Armagedon for Gods sakes! Lol I hope they do tho bring it to Marketplace or someting
