Have you ever had to cut major plot points or story lines from a game? If so, how do you decide which stay and which go? For example, I recall seeing segments of the Halo Reach ViDoc "A Spartan Will Rise" which looked like they were from cut scenes, but I never saw them in the game. Are those segments cut content, or were they custom made for the trailer?
