I was browsing the Halo forums, when I misclicked the reach forum, and ended up here... I never left
How did you end up here?
I don't mean b.net in general, but I mean "The Flood". So stats is invalid.

I came here for the Destiny news and updates. Now I almost never go to that forum.

My girlfriend said I should try forums

Edited by CAMMCAM: 4/14/2014 7:49:11 PMIt all started with the Reach Forum. Not sure how I ended up here. Oh my, this is old.

Edited by Jaaake AU: 4/14/2014 2:31:57 PMNeeded help installing Halo 2 Vista. Came to the Flood while I was waiting for replies in my help thread.

I didn't choose the flood life the flood life chose me
-
I wanted flames.
-
Came to bungie.net for halo 3 stats in 09. Found the flood. Been here on and off ever since.
-
Gaming and The Flood were the first that I lurked. Community a bit, which made me fall in love with the supportive behavior about BB and his passing. How everyone came together like that. Gaming I quickly realized wasn't my crowd and, jut as every forum I've used, I was like a moth to the flame when I came to a "general discussion" section.

I got my iPod in April 2013. Was browsing apps and i stumbled upon bnet, ive never even gone on bnet on PC, only rarely venturing out into the strange lands of #Gaming. I live here now
-
i was referred here by my therapist
-
Made account for stats Hung around on Reach forum, mainly lurking Update Started posting in Gaming around June last year Decided to off topic again.
I lurked the flood as well as reach.
-
I dunno. I think it was because I linked my GT to B.net.
-
I seen the one symbol next your gt in halo 3 and asked how to get it and someone told me to create an account on b.net. I never posted till I think when reach came out or a little later.
-
It was back in 2012, when finally a guy at microsoft helpdesk helped me with recovering my password. And a couple of weeks later, I was playing Reach and one of the challenges was linking up with your Bnet account. So I signed in to Bnet for the very first time ever. And from there on I thought lets see what the forums have to offer.

It all began in 1789...
-
Got the bungie app to see stuff about destiny and saw forums..went on to see the categories and saw off topic..my life has gone off the deep end ever since

One night a few years ago I was out on the town. I noticed this guy signaling to me to come over to him. "Seems legit", I thought to myself as I approached the shady man. Before I had time to react, 17 clones of Nicolas Cage jumped out of the shadows and began beating me with wiffle bats. I quickly pulled out my SKS that I keep in my back pocket at all times and open fired. Their velociraptor captain stood no chance. I quickly bailed over the railing of the Seattle space needle before Zeus destroyed it with a plague of earth worms. As I paraglided over the greater Seattle area, a sudden down draft sent me spiraling out of control. I smashed thru the wall of this building. After regaining consciousness, I looked around and found a computer that was still logged on to something called "Bungie.net". After browsing the internet for various material, I went back to Bungie.net out of sheer curiosity. I discovered a place so full of space magic and friendship I instantly made an account and left the building the next morning at 4:58 on the spot. The building in question you might ask?
Bungie HQ
My parents didn't supervise me while on the Internet.
-
My main private group, Thee Warriors, became dreadfully inactive with B.Next, and my few remaining friends were here.

Edited by Legend To None: 4/14/2014 6:13:59 AMTook 3 years, but after Halo was given to Microsoft and Bungie's game Destiny was leaked into rumors and then confirmed by Bungie. I thought id check out the info since it was leaked. Then I got the app but just lurked in the mail sack. After the site and app was updated I thought I'd join the forums. Then the community was much better than it was in 2007 and 2010 so now I've stayed since May 2013

I could hear the howling coming from the distance, I followed through the darkness and fog and after many perilous nights in pursuit I arrived here at the flood.
-
Boredom and intrigue.
-
Even back on B.old I just didn't care enough about the generic game conversations in the forums, so I just looked for the threads with fun headings. Then when the Nextocalpyse happened I quit the forums and forgot/lost my login info and the email for the previous account. Didn't come back until I head about Destiny. Signed up just so I had dates for releases and whatnot, and came back here again.
-
I went onto the bungie app to learn about Destiny. Noticed a forums button. Hit all topics after looking around the rest of the app.
