AVGN Shut Down on Youtube
James Rolfe a.k.a. [i]The Angry Video Game Nerd[/i] has had his account terminated on youtube for violating terms of service, apparently. Check it out for yourself.
Opinions on youtube openly shutting down internet-celebrities? Surely he had to bring in some considerable revenue.

Obviously I don't actually believe that because I never heard of him, he is automatically guilty of... whatever. Also, I do think some folks need to take things more lightly around here. Seriously? That sucks. I just recently started getting into him. He wasn't that funny, but I liked his videos because of all the games he would show off.

I don't go onto YouTube to watch teh YouTubers or whatever. If I need to look up a tutorial or walk-through of a game, I'll be on there. But no, I don't go on YouTube on a regular basis and subscribed to these people. So to me, I couldn't care less.

[/quote]In this case as Youtube is the one who writes and enforces the rules, we should be able to assume that when they terminate someones channel for ToS violations, it means the channel violated the ToS. I'm 99% certain Youtube knows the ins and outs of its ToS more thoroughly than anybody on this forum.
