Why isnt Halo 4 as fun as Reach?
Im one of the minority who actually thought, From an MP standpoint mind you, That Halo Reach was a great game, I adored it in fact, Much better than Halo 3's -blam!- MP (Again, I know thats not an opinion shared by most of you, But anyway) Halo 4 just doesnt hold my attention as much, Dont get me wrong its a great game but it just lacks... I dont know, While playing it I just feel like its not something I can do for a long period of time any more, Reach was far more fun and exciting and just generally entertaining.
What the hell is Halo 4 missing?

I wholeheartedly agree. It may be the lack of gametypes, huge changes to Infection, and the shoddy File Share.

For starters, the firefight map proved not to change gameplay in any significant way, and a multiplayer map would be more appreciated. Highlands, while looking really cool, suffered from poor weapon layout and rarity in matchmaking to the point I cannot remember one good objective game I had on it (but quite a few bad ones). Condemned was an alright map, but in no way a game-defining map that has any chance of being remade in the future. Not to mention this was the first Halo map pack since Heroic not to add anything for Forge users, which was immensely disappointing (only worse because Tempest had not satiated anyone's appetite). Truly, Certain Affinity had no idea what people were looking for, and I worry, may still have no idea as more Halo 4 map packs are released.

[/quote]I'm not going to argue anecdotes with you. I will say that I would be surprised if it wasn't the worst selling Halo map pack since Heroic. Even people who played Reach throughout its lifespan could easily avoid purchasing it. Just for you, I'm going to look it up. Mythic II sales and Anniversary Pack sales don't count because a majority simply bought the games that came with them.
