Why isnt Halo 4 as fun as Reach?
Im one of the minority who actually thought, From an MP standpoint mind you, That Halo Reach was a great game, I adored it in fact, Much better than Halo 3's -blam!- MP (Again, I know thats not an opinion shared by most of you, But anyway) Halo 4 just doesnt hold my attention as much, Dont get me wrong its a great game but it just lacks... I dont know, While playing it I just feel like its not something I can do for a long period of time any more, Reach was far more fun and exciting and just generally entertaining.
What the hell is Halo 4 missing?

I don't know man. Reach is amazing, I still love it to this day. I stopped playing Halo 4 when I reached level 81 and realized it wasn't even that fun.

Later I found a thread in the Bethesda forums with people arguing how Oblivion was much better than Skyrim, same with Battlefield. This is a wide phenomenon not exclusive to the Halo franchise.

Armor Lock alone makes Halo Reach a less enjoyable game, imo. Then you add the clumsy movement and physics, boring art style, inaccurate guns in 70% of the playlists (100% of the playlists for the first year), and countless other abominations and you have no contest. Also, I didn't particularly like seeing my gun, my colored arm, and a sea of grey 24/7.

It's like saying "I'm calling it right now, I think it's going to rain somewhere on the planet eventually!" and then when it rains somewhere in Singapore you grin and you say "I [b]knew[/b] I was right!" But there's nothing to be proud of, because what you are predicting is a statistical likelyhood. And it's nothing profound either, just because Gamer A like Reach and hates Halo 4 and Gamer B likes Halo 5 and hates Halo 4 isn't an indication at all of a trend or cycle.
