What if Destiny is a bad game?
I know...it is a blasphamous thing to even utter. But this darkness is leaving me with very little to think about, then this horrible thought entered my mind. I think the darkness got to me or something, but yeah...
What would you do if Destiny is bad? Or it does a really money milking thing for multiplayer, like...like MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION FEES!!! All the bad scenarios are running through my mind, it sucks. Bungie give us a trailer pl0x, I think I broke lol.
tl;dr: what would you do if Destiny is bad?

Other than Halo: Reach (which was amazing to me outside of multiplayer), Bungie has never let me down before. That being said, I wouldn't doubt if Destiny lets me down in some way, but I definitely would give it credit where it's due. So even if it's a terrible game, I know Bungie still put a lot of effort and time into the project, and I would respect them for it.

The only way Destiny may be considered a "bad game" is if it has a monthly subscription.

You could hand them Starry Night and they'd whine about the lack of color balance, the dominance of blue in the picture, the lack of realism, the lack of grit, the fact that it looks easy to draw, the fact that Van Gogh never went back and added new things to the picture over time, and that it's 2D when he could've made a 3D diorama instead.

[/quote]You don't hold a beta to find bugs or for discovering gameplay flaws unfortunately, it's more useful for datamining, especially in the networking sense, than anything else. Usually if a game has a problem, it's fairly obvious from playing it. You'll recall that most if not all the bugs found during the Reach Beta had already been fixed internally by the time they put out the Beta. There was really just the one glitch where shots were registering lower than they were fired.

Lets say Destiny is badly received. It would just be like a problematic emotional goth child. I would have to apologize to everyone for the child being so irritating and bad. But deep down I would still love it. And thats just worst case scenario. I honestly think its going to be amazing.
