Pokemon X and Y announced!
Pokemon X and Pokemon Y announced for 3DS
Nintendo has announced Pokemon X and Pokemon Y for 3DS, the first handheld mainline Pokemon set in a breathtaking 3D world, for a worldwide release in October 2013.
The game features new starters Chespin (grass), Fennekin (fire), and Froakie (water)

This completely blindsided me. I knew they were going to release a new gen for the 3DS, but I didn't figure it would be so soon. Even though I don't own a 3DS, consider me psyched.

I got a DS as a Pokemon machine. I'll likely get a 3DS for the same reason now, although Ocarina of Time will have a place.

Another game to look forward to this year, it looks pretty sweet. Dat [i]Fennekin[/i]. In all honesty I think it's a little early as we only got Black and White 2 [i]fairly[/i] recently but I'm not that bothered. It's awesome to finally see the game in a different style and I can't wait to see how it turns out.

Unlike black because it just makes the game better they learned that after they miserably failed with black. So even if the new ones are bad you will have the old ones in the game to. It shows tons old pokemon in the trailer so it should have tons of old pokemon in the game.

And Ocarina for 3DS is much more solid game on the 3DS than I ever experienced on the N64. Also I'm not sure why people are getting mad at the 3DS exclusivity. The DS is nearly a decade old. The 3DS is far more advanced and is capable of so much more, as well as tons of more data that can be stored on the game cards. So I suggest those people stop complaining. The only way to transition to the future consoles is to make more and more games exclusive for it.

I kinda wish they would just remake the original red and blue with these graphics. I'd deff buy a 3ds just for that. But these new Pokemon look really stupid.

Looks interesting. If I had a 3DS, I would definitely give it a shot. :P I still want my mass Pokemon game where you can explore Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, etc. all in one cartridge. THEN I will jump back onto the Pokemon bandwagon.
