Pokemon X and Y announced!
Pokemon X and Pokemon Y announced for 3DS
Nintendo has announced Pokemon X and Pokemon Y for 3DS, the first handheld mainline Pokemon set in a breathtaking 3D world, for a worldwide release in October 2013.
The game features new starters Chespin (grass), Fennekin (fire), and Froakie (water)

Serebii just updated. [url=http://serebii.net/index2.shtml]Serebii[/url] You can see pictures of the new Pokemon. Seems like the Y legend really is Y shaped. I do not see the x shape in the x legend. Unless it is the crystals?

They did not remake Gen III, because black and white did phenomenally well and they deserved sequels. Besides, I am sure there will be a way to get most of all the legends in X and Y. Sapphire was my favourite pokemon game ever. As long as I can get a new Kyogre in X and Y, I am happy. [Edited on 01.08.2013 4:20 AM PST]

I'm sure they are going to make R/S remakes now that they are pushing the 3DS and it lacks a GBA port. Hopefully by 2014 or something.

I'm guessing Y-Legendary is going to be Flying/Fighting or maybe Dragon/Fighting. I'm starting to get tired of Dragon Legendaries. Still not sure what type the X-Legendary is. I'm guessing Normal/Fighting or Normal/Grass.... Unless.... New types may be a possibility. I welcome them. The Y legend looks like dark dragon.

The last time types were added was in Gen II with Dark and Steel. They didn't do too much change, but enough to change a bit of the metagame. And if they do, they'll likely only have a very small handful of pokemon with the type. Also on another note, NO MORE POKEMON EMULATOR SCUM. 3DS games are heavily encrypted and the 3DS emulators that exist are awful.

It looks like the game might be set in a European type place because there is a building that looks like the Eiffel Tower in the trailer.

I'm guessing this game's location is the result of that. Could be pretty interesting.
