Pokemon X and Y announced!
Pokemon X and Pokemon Y announced for 3DS
Nintendo has announced Pokemon X and Pokemon Y for 3DS, the first handheld mainline Pokemon set in a breathtaking 3D world, for a worldwide release in October 2013.
The game features new starters Chespin (grass), Fennekin (fire), and Froakie (water)

I've never played Pokemon nor do I plan on playing it. Doesn't mean I don't like the series though. :) I'm interested to see what's coming out this time around for the franchise.

I've seen too many hype trains crash and burn not to be pessimistic. This is a ten minute Nintendo Direct so I'm betting on a Wii U/3DS Pokemon Waypoint app where you'll have a pokedex and trainer profile. Now when Gen VI is finally announced I think Nintendo may do something different. Rather than having Pokemon X and Y for the 3DS you'll have Pokemon X on the 3DS and Pokemon Y on the Wii U just as how they're doing this with Super Smash Bros 4.

[/quote] Nah, they still need to release a pokemon wii U game because unova sprites do not exist for stadium type games. They will begin developing one I am sure. There will probably not be a gen VI if this information is true. 20 new pokemon. Might be evolutions that some pokemon need to be stronger.

Man i just want a game were i can play as the "Bad" Factions I would throw all my money at Nintendo if i can play as Team Plasma. they were the only "bad" faction that seemed to have a sort of good morals but it was a bit corrupt as most members were full of morally questionable psychotic thugs that are doing it for the money.

I am pretty sure the Eevee evolution cannot be a coincidence. Pokemon have been teasing it on twitter. Trivia time! How many possible evolutions of Eevee are there? There is quite a bit of stuff going on about it. Virgil having an Eevee in the Unova league, it could evolve to Draconeon. Who knows? Also, The 16th movie will have an eevee short. I don't see why people want a console Pokemon game. The whole point of Pokemon is that you take it with you wherever you go (hence why it's called Pokemon/Pocket Monsters). I'm glad it's a 3DS title but I hope they announce another version of the 3DS with more battery life. I don't want the 3DS XL since it's way too big.
