If the op is a legendary or mythic? And now that I am amongst the ranks f legendary once again will you take my threads more seriously?
So many questions
-
Nope. It all depends on how the OP presents the topic.
-
2004 or bust.
-
If anything, I take them less seriously.
-
I judge a thread's content before taking it seriously. The OP's title has no influence.
-
Rabble rabble rabble
-
Nope. Plenty of Mythic members without two functioning brain cells to rub together, plenty of Heroic or lower members who make great threads. While I was Legendary, all that changed was that people got mad that I was Legendary instead of getting mad about something else. :P
-
I only respond to threads with Mythic OPs. Wait a minute...
-
Nope. For me, it's a per user basis. If you're generally serious, I take you seriously. If you're Helveck, all I read is 'Dragons' and move on.
-
I take every thread on here so very seriously.
-
Not exactly; if I recognize the OP as someone who usually makes quality threads, then I will take the thread more seriously.
-
I only take a thread seriously if it should be.
-
This is true, when I see a mythic post or suggest something hilariously stupid, my first reaction is they're joking. Its harder to work this out with newer members.
I can see where you're going but I think it's more to do as the title gets higher, it seems less likely to be trolling and more likely to be sarcasm. So, if a Member made a sarcastic thread it would be perceived as trolling but if a Mythic Member made the same thread it would be harmless banter. I could be completely wrong but I think there's an inkling of perception involved too.
Regardless of how you perceive it, it doesn't change the fact that members who are supposed to be valuable contributors are using their title as an excuse to make meaningless posts in place of valuable discussions.

That would mean that Legendary and Mythic members are better members, when often they're worse.
-
Ofcourse I will! You have my word...
-
Honestly No. From my experience, the higher the title, the more sarcastic the posts tend to be.
-
Nope.
-
Not at all.
-
No, but a thread breaking the rules (or flirting with the boundaries) do still surprise me a little.
-
I sit up straight, speak only when spoken to, and remember to curtsy when OP is mythic.
-
Mythics are my boss, so of course I do.
-
Not really, no.
