Link gamertag

Hi I just joined a few days ago. Everything seems to match up with my Xbox account and it shows my profile, but when I click on Halo 3 (the game I play multiplayer) icon I get: ----------------------- We were not able to find any record of Halo 3 activity for this player. This player may not have played Halo 3 while connected to Xbox Live. If you're already signed in and your looking for your own stats your XBOX Live gamertag may not be linked correctly in our system. For details on how to link your gamertag head over to xbox.com: Link your gamertag here! ------------------------- The link just takes me to https://live.xbox.com/en-US/Home

It says my total time played for H3 is 45 minutes.......HA! [Edited on 12.30.2012 7:37 PM PST]

 • Ah thanks I read something like that on another page, but because of the message I quoted above when I clicked on Halo 3 I assumed that there was still a way for those stats and I was just doing something wrong. [Edited on 12.30.2012 7:02 PM PST]

 • If you played after March 31, 2012 then your stats won't show up. I played Reach after the 31st so my stats don't show here.
Posted by: Achronos Bungie didn't change sites. Rather, Halo did. On March 31st, all control of all Halo games switched to Microsoft and their Halo studio, 343 Industries. There is a notice on every single Halo page to this effect. No stats, no files, nothing updates anymore, and is only kept online for archival purposes. Microsoft maintains a Halo Reach stats and file share on their web site, halo.xbox.com, but it I don't think it has anything for Halo 3.

Posted by: Achronos The change is better described as a "freeze". Bungie.net will no longer have access to the live Halo data. This means that on March 31st, 2012, Bungie.net will no longer reflect changes you make in game, and will no longer have the ability to affect the game. This means no more file shares, screenshots, new stats (old stats will be available in archive form), your service record (including armor selections) won't update anymore, etc.
