The first Call of Duty I've purposely not purchased. Still haven't played Halo 4 either. No game will bring back the magic of the past.

Here's the way I see it. Halo fans, struggling to stay relevant, see their game as still thriving and popular. What they don't realize is that the complete opposite is happening, as the fanbase slowly dwindles away. What you get is the illusion that YOUR game, Halo in this case, is popular and still very active, when in reality it's not, and because of this false belief it shocks you guys when you see CoD sell so many copies.

I don't play Halo 4 during the week, but weekends I crank it. Maybe the mass majority of players do, maybe they don't. November was filled with many game releases that were blockbuster hits. After Christmas, that may change. I'll keep an open mind until a few months of the game being out.
