It was nice to give our weekly conversation the usual royal treatment again.
As a bonus to the usual challenge (which you will find embedded in the Sack itself), I will be selecting three lucky people who respond to this thread to receive a free code to download the new and improved Kerbal Space Program. To qualify, complete this sentence: "I want to journey into space because..."
To learn more about KSP, pay a visit to the KerbalKon being streamed all day long by our friends at Squad - but be sure to come back to Bungie.net and help your fellow community peeps solve the puzzle for this week.

Ah, another insightful read, as usual. Ah, another generic response from me, as usual. I want to journey into space because... I wish to view the Universe unhindered, without earthly constraints. That I may stare into the void, and truly reflect upon not only myself, but on the whole of mankind. To bear witness to the birth of a new age, and gaze down upon the earth from a new, vast perspective. Now, let's see what's up with the main challenge. Edit: People are jerks. Seriously, if the community turned out to e working for the NSA or CIA, I would not be surprised. [Edited on 11.30.2012 9:10 PM PST]

I want to journey into space because I want to explore the final frontier.

I'm glad to have our mail sack back. Good read.

I want to journey into space because the earth will eventually implode on itself and I don't want to be here when it does.

I want to journey into space because I can.

After reading articles about the game (+ seeing you guys tweet the livestream), it actually seems really interesting. I want to journey into space to explore and develop my own personal stations and spacecraft. To test and find out the formula for building the most reliable and efficint craft of them all. Hopefully with minimal bugs c:

I want to journey into space to see the planets up close. I've never seen any planet other than earth before, (except little dots in the sky) and I think it would be a crazy experience. Even if we couldn't go and land like astronauts, just seeing the thing would like going to a whole new world. Please pick me. I really want to go into space. :D
-
I want to journey to space because I don't want to journey to space.
-
I want to journey into space because I would like to fulfill my childhood dream that only becomes possible to a select few.
-
I want to journey into space because Aliums.
-
I want to journey into space because almost everything on Earth has already been discovered.

I want to journey into space because I want to know what Wheatley is up to.

Saw something earlier about Kerbal Space Program earlier, can't remember if it was from one of you Bungie guys or now. Either way, it's an interesting looking project. I want to journey into space because I want to boldly go where no Septagonian has gone before. [Edited on 11.30.2012 3:31 PM PST]

I want to journey into space because it's getting -blam!-ing crowded down here.

"I want to journey into space because, this line may be from a movie, But I TRULY want to boldly go where no man has gone before. I want to push our limits and want to show the world humanities true potential. Also Nice read. Thanks DeeJ

I want to journey into space because I want to see what lies beyond our own world, whether there is life other than ours or if the universe is an empty husk of what it used to be. I want to explore the depths of space and fight space monkeys too.

Also, we are a speices located on one planet, and one planet alone. If something were to happen to the planet we love oh so much, our entire species might be wiped out in an instant. Our species needs to be able to say that we can survive. That is why I was soo annoyed when NASA funding was cut. They are some of the only people that can assure the survival of our race, and we just gave them the middle finger. Pathetic.
