What do you think about this?
Does anyone remember, if the population was more kind with Reach?
Posted by: Black Eagle X99 Halo 3 never dipped this badly. In fact Halo 3 didn't leave my disk drive for months, I know this was the same with many others as well. This is what happens when you completely change multiplayer. It looks as though those on this forum who like the game are in fact a minority after all.
That's not just because of Halo 4, it's also because of COD. Please, get your head out of your ass.

Then black ops 2 is the winner!!!!

Your original quote against me was to challenge me when I said that most people don't watch football all day and play Halo. That's a very small minority and it was separate from what OP posted cause it was only a reply to someone who made that comment.
Posted by: a squiggly apple So now you bring up the campaign? These numbers in the OP that we are discussing are from MP.
The game is that bad I'm surprised it isn't dead already.
Posted by: Gaara444 You can play casually and enjoy the franchise. If you're playing "Casually" chances are, you're a lower rank than someone who plays more "Hardcore". Did you know that there is a gametype that doesn't help you rank up that let's you play "Casually" and enjoy the franchise? It's called the Campaign, it let's people play "Casually" while enjoying the franchise.
Posted by: a squiggly apple They can't be Halo nerds if they are playing casually, because it means they ultimately do not care about the franchise, they are enjoying it now but will easily move on completely if they experience something more enjoyable to them.
Posted by: floodian0002 Too bad only stat whoring Halo vets seem to only run the playlists now. Also, too early to report stats on population.
The vets don't play it because of the ¨wall glitches¨ and ¨join in progress¨. Its a new kind of population that is playing it right now. Mostly dedicated Reach players IMO.
Posted by: Gaara444 No one is talking about casual versus hardcore. That has nothing to do with people being nerds when playing Halo.
Posted by: a squiggly apple Also, another point is why are all these die hard Halo fans playing infinity slayer while slayer pro has the least amount of people? Sounds to me as if most of these people couldn't give a crap about classic Halo and are just playing the casual playlist, these people are not nerds they are casuals. Also, stop putting the quote after your post it is really annoying.

They can't be Halo nerds if they are playing casually, because it means they ultimately do not care about the franchise, they are enjoying it now but will easily move on completely if they experience something more enjoyable to them.

It's because the game isn't that great.
Posted by: Gaara444 If Halo is as mainstream as you say, why is it suffering from such a huge population drop after Blops II was released? It's mainstream to an extent, but only die hard Halo fans are gonna stay on the bandwagon until the new Halo comes out. You wanna what kind of people those die hard fans are? The answer should be obvious....
Posted by: a squiggly apple No, Halo is mainstream for a video game, most of those people play casually.

No some people just prefer Halo get over it, they don't have to be die hard fans playing all the time. Why do you think it is suffering such a huge population drop? COD is more popular and more than one game is allowed to be mainstream, Halo is mainstream. Also, another point is why are all these die hard Halo fans playing infinity slayer while slayer pro has the least amount of people?
Posted by: Gaara444 Name me another original Xbox title during that time that utilized LIVE and was good. Protip: You can't. Everyone played Halo 2 on LIVE cause it was the only worthwhile video game at the time for the Xbox.
