Halo 4 is dying.

This doesn't prove anything. At a game's release the population is going to be higher than at any other time in its lifespan. But wait about 3 months, then show us a chart again. I bet the population will show a steady decline. H4 won't be able to hold consistent large numbers. My guess is it'll be just like Reach.

I don't see it as much of a big deal. A huge amount stopped when Black Ops came out, which is no surprise. Also, there are a lot of people that buy EVERY game that comes out and only play for a week or so before moving on to another game.

I couldn't answer your question cause everyone I know has seen Episodes I-VI and the original Clone Wars mini series multiple times in the last six months. That's what happens with every game release. Reach lost its population at a far steeper curve (but over a period of a month or two, not a few weeks), so we can't say Halo 4 is dying. I hope OP isn't one of those people who say 200,000 plus players is "nothing".

I'm really enjoying the game, quite honestly. I'm also enjoying Black Ops 2. That is one perk of being an adult, having the freedom to make my own choices, with my own money.

If I were to PM everyone I played Halo 4 with over random MM asking if they were a Nerd, how often would you think they would say yes? They sit at home playing a Sci-Fi shooter over the internet. The game has only left teh puma's disk tray a single time, and that was because a buddy wanted to play ME3. However if we wish to count this as a form of switching disks, teh puma has been playing planetside 2 quite a bit recently, so there is that. Teh puma doesn't hate Halo 4 in the slightest, however, whoever is working on the MM for them is nowhere near the quality of whoever worked on previous titles. [Edited on 11.25.2012 11:48 AM PST]
