Because I sure haven't. The vegan girls always have no butts either.

I've only seen a few. They weren't really buff, just muscular. [Edited on 11.19.2012 3:46 PM PST]

At the gym, yeah. Vegetarians *can* eat dairy and eggs, so getting the necessary protein isn't that hard. Plus, they get dat whey.
-
I haven't known any buff vegetarians. Though I did sleep with a pretty damn hot vegan when I was in college. She was cool and not preachy about it either.
-
Don't know any.
-
someone already mentioned it but Arian Foster is a vegan and he could probably rip all of our heads off easily. I still don't know how he does it though. One of the best running backs in the league and all he eats is rabbit food. NEVER GONNA GIVE UP BACON
-
Nope. They're all twig boys.
Posted by: Toxifies You can't really get buff without eating protein. The vegan bodybuilders are a lot smaller and put much more work into building muscle than traditional body builders.
Not all protein comes from meats. Nuts can give you protein.

not in person but i found it interesting that Michael Clarke Duncan is a vegetarian
-
...you do know that protein exists in nuts and vegetables right? OT, no. But that's because I don't anyone who's vegan, or buff.
-
I go on 90 mile bike rides and ski off-piste/double black terrain all day with no breaks. And I can do 100+ sit-ups at a time. Come at me, bro.
-
i have a vegan friend who is pretty big.

You can get more protein from veggies and nuts that you ever can from meats.

Are vegetarians still allowed to drink horse milk? My horse only has one nipple, but I wouldn't want to give up the tasty milk.

I have seen them before. Probly just stock up on eggs and whey protein shakes for dat protein. I hate them.

I consider myself to be a paleo-diet expert. It really is better. Also, GMO's are really bad. Do not eat them.

I know a vegetarian who, although I wouldn't say buff, is rocking a pretty mean sixpack. He eats a lot of cheese

People seem to misunderstand why you 'need' to eat meat. It is to do with Amino Acids which are used to build Specialised Proteins inside the body. 'Because your body can only produce 13 amino acids on its own, you need to get the other nine from your diet. These nine are considered essential because you need them to maintain a healthy body. They are histidine, lysine, threonine, methionine, isoleucine, leucine, valine, phenylalanine and tryptophan. Although you can get amino acids from both plant- and animal-based foods, only animal protein contains all nine essential amino acids.' So, no one needs to eat meat as you can get all of the necessary nutrients from other sources. It is really a choice, some people choose to eat meat others choose not to. I find it irritating if either side of this gets preachy, The Bacon Mafia or the Vegan Brigade.

I see one every time I look in the mirror There's also Daniel Bryan, it's definitely not impossible to be buff on a vegetarian or vegan diet. [Edited on 11.20.2012 2:39 AM PST]
