Have you ever actually been satisfied by a show's finale?

Of all the shows I've seen to the end, Monk is the only one I can think of whose ending provided closure and didn't feel rushed or jarring. Fringe looks like it's building up to a good end though. Discuss shows that ended well, and feel free to post the ending if you can find it. No clip, but the incredible closing song from Monk, by Randy Newman.

 •
Posted by: Raptorx7 Burn Notice is over? I had no idea.
Posted by: The Parasite Burn Notice.

It had a finale that effectively ended the series but I think they're rebooting it. I'm glad they are too I loved that show.

 •
Posted by: Ninja Blue Wolf Fullmetal Alchemist.
i didnt really like the original, i liked brotherhood though. i never liked the idea of the homunculus being caused by trying to bring back humans with alchemy. Its much cooler them being detached parts of a omnipotent like alchemy monster.

 •
Posted by: Recon Number 54 Star Trek TNG's finale of "All Good Things" was (IMO) well done. They could have easily never made a single movie and the series would have been well-served.
Can't believe I forgot Star Trek...while I enjoy the movies, they retcon a lot of what was established in the end and the series finale was a brilliant way to show the future without a cliche montage set to sappy music.

 •
Posted by: spagheeett
Posted by: Hdawger I agree with Monk and Avatar, but how can people say Scrubs ended well? The last season was awful IMO.
i think people are saying scrubs just because they were glad it was over, not because the ending was any good.
I wasn't talking about Season 9, because 9 was just a Spin off. This was a great way to end it.

 • Only if it is somewhat of a cliff hanger. Well, not really a cliff hanger, but open ended. You know that the story goes on, but you still get some sort of resolution.

 • I can't really think of one, maybe Scrubs, ignoring the Med School thing; and I never really liked the last few episodes of Avatar.
