Just tossing this idea out there. What think you guys? Would this be good/bad? Would it be helpful or just annoying?
Posted by: evilcam There already is. We call it the "Demolish all Dissent Clause". A ban from the forums is more than just that. When you're banned, your real identity is accessed by that spyware you agreed to download when you agreed to the Terms of Use, and your name is added to The List. Which involves slingshots, The Sun, and us asking what kind of prophylactics our community's mothers prefer.
And that information is also passed along to the CIA.

In order to see it though, you must first pass the wet noodle.

It's more like the Ninjas are the law here, and we have no rights so...dead end?

What we collectively think of the moderators doesn't matter. It's up to their overlords. There would be no point. They basically have tenure.
-
The moderator COC is the same as ours, except they cannot ban unjustly.
-
The moderators have their own rules and standards. Recon Number 54 has said numerous times he has been 'scolded' for things in the past and corrected himself. As long as they police each other and Achronos/ Deej/ Urk/ whomever does it now also does so, then I don't see a reason for a 'public' standard. All that would happen is that people would cause drama with it even more than is done already. It would do no good.

Isn't this the moderator Code of Conduct... [Edited on 11.11.2012 3:25 PM PST]

I just have one simple question.. Why?
-
It's not the users' job to police the moderators, it's the Web Team's. This would just give members one more thing to whine about. © [Edited on 11.11.2012 2:58 PM PST]

I'm pretty sure all it would be is "Enforce rules; use personal discretion." Or it's "Ban everyone! Or not?"
