Halo 4: Pre-release is much like Halo 3's
This reminds me of 5 years ago. Everyone was -blam!-ing about how bad H3 was and that Bungie sucked etc.
So all of you nay-sayers, I want you to know, we've heard it all before. Go cry elsewhere about the game, some of us want to enjoy it when it releases.

There is something the haters forget, is the one key thing that keeps this industry going forward is innovation. Games borrow things from other games all the time, remember, Halo and CoD, at there core, are two completely different games, and simply becuase something doesn't work in cod/there is something you don't like, doesn't mean it wont work in halo/doesn't mean ya wont like it. The fact is we haven't played Halo 4 yet, and becuase of the fact that Halo plays differently then cod, we cant say as fact how these features will turn out until November 6th, when we get to experience these changes first hand. Things would be alot better if people would save there judgements until they played it first, seeing a game being played, and playing it yourself, are 2 completely different things. One or two features does not a game make, until i can ADS and kill people in a few hits, and shields are removed, then and only then do i think halo can be called a cod clone. There will always be people who hate change. I am looking forward COD like Halo gameplay. COD is fun. People who are fanboys miss out on everything, I am open to any game. I have tons of fun in Halo, COD and BF3. Killstreaks are extremely fun to get but very irritating to lose. The same could be said about power weps or vehicles in Halo though. Classes add some fun to the game. Let's see how good it is when it comes out.

I hate it when people use the logic that when every new installment comes out, those that -blam!-ed about the previous installment are now praising the previous installment over the new one. This is a horrible misunderstanding. When games within a franchise continue down a specific path of change they sometimes continue to weaken (in what seems to be peoples' opinions) on the same aspects. For example: An elitist praises CE and hates on Halo 2. Then Halo 3 comes out and weakens the formula even more, and now that same elitist will put Halo 2 over Halo 3. This is an isolated case, but I know it holds true to quite a few people. However, Halo 2 is still flawed in their eyes, and they aren't now praising it just because. They have reasons for such ideals. Some people can't seem to understand that. On the notion of hypocrisy this is how it really plays out that for some reason isn't obvious to most people. For example: What people think happens... Person A Hates Reach and praises Halo 3, and then Halo 4 comes out and Person A now praises Reach over Halo 4. What actually happens... Person A hates Reach and praises Halo 3, and then Halo 4 comes out and Person B praises Reach over Halo 4. [Edited on 10.13.2012 10:05 PM PDT]

I do remember a lot of people being excited for Halo: Reach and the changes that were being made with it. They got mad at all the people who said that they didn't like the changes. The people praising the changes became more rare after the game actually came out.

Oddly enough, the people who like the game outnumber the people who hate the game on this forum. (Source: Any thread about "Are you getting Halo 4" that has a poll, the "Yes" option ALWAYS wins) Yet somehow, the amount of people -blam!-ing about haters is insane. Stop being babies just because someone doesn't like the game you like. Ignore them.
