I see people calling Halo 4 the "first halo game on two discs".
This is false.
There's a campaign disc and a multiplayer disc, it's pretty much the same exact format as another Halo release.
I shouldn't need to elaborate as that should be enough for anyone dumb enough to call halo 4 the first two disc halo.

Boo-hoo two discs now you have to get up and walk like a metre to change it.
-
ODST actually does not count. A) ODST is a single game, and the other disc was for Halo 3. So nope, ODST did not come in 2 discs.
-
So many of you don't read other's posts. Like the 3 legged goat and I have said. You install the multiplayer from dics 2 but play campaign, spartan ops, theater, forge and multiplayer of dics 1. If this wouldn't be the case then get of your fat asses and change the dics!

Why is this even a thread?

Thank the queen. *hiss*

OP seems angry over a little thing. OP seems to misunderstand his own topic. ODST and Halo 3 are 2 separate games my friend, ODST just uses Halo 3's engine. ODST doesn't count. H4 is the first halo game with two disks for the same game. *hiss*

I don't understand.... is that a bad thing?
Posted by: EvilTaffyapple Does it really matter? Did this need a thread? Jesus. Calm down.
Lol, people trying to argue semantics. He is saying that this is NOT THE FIRST package in the Halo realses to contain two disks that contain some kind of version of the actual game.
-
So why does this matter? I don't see the big deal here. Now, if it came with an online pass, THEN there would be a problem. This thread is now about the absurdity of required online passes.
Posted by: Jin Kisaragi
Posted by: Dragonzzilla ... I don't think ODST counts
What you think and what actually counts, are two entirely seperate realities. H4 is not the first two disc halo, get over it. H4's second disk installs the multiplayer anyway and you just end up using the first one.
The ODST one is different cause they have different game engines That's what they said in the vidoc

Technically, even though it was released later, halo 2 also had a second disk.
-
The next Xbox better have blue ray support. The two disc thing is getting annoying.
-
*looks at ME3* yup I getting up every 2 minutes to change discs. Btw before you think that you're about to prove me wrong get a life. That was one example. Its a good damn halo game, halo has never been known for the long campaign or the big multi player maps.
-
Yaahh... it's the first technically. ODST doesn't count since that was two different games. One was for H3 MM and the other was campaign for ODST. H4 2-disc set is for H4 entirely. Just one is, like it's been stated already, a "season pass" DLC pack for the FIRST disc. <3
Posted by: Chelloz THE one You only install the Mp on dics 2. You play everything from dics 1.
Good to know.. Glad to hear Halo 4 is on two disks.. More room to add more content obviously. One issue though.. I don't like my disks to spin.. so I'll just install both to the Hard Drive. [Edited on 10.12.2012 7:40 AM PDT]
Posted by: A 3 Legged Goat The 2nd disc is used to install multiplayer content which is then played off of the first disc. This means faster loading times for you. I don't see what the big deal is.
OP you're wrong by fact. Halo 3 ODST was all on one disk. The other disk had not content from ODST as is therefor not the same halo game.
-
The one disc was ODST. The other disc was Halo 3 online. They were two different games. OT: I prefer just using one disc... [Edited on 10.12.2012 7:23 AM PDT]

R U SUREUS? I neva new dat
-
Well I had to buy Halo 3 FOUR times so for me, Halo 3 was on 4 discs.
-
ODST's second disc was Halo 3 Mythic, not more ODST gameplay.
