Which one did you prefer? I'm planning on buying one of them, if not both, but given the choice, which one would you prefer?

I played Revelations for all of 20 minutes and then got bored. I still play Brotherhood. 90% synchronized. Its a great game and Rome is a great setting for an AC game.
I have 100% synchronization :) I agree, Rome is awesome.

They are both good games, even though they were just fillers to tie up Altair's and Ezio's stories. Ignore people who say they are bad because that's for you to decide. Although, Revelations is the shortest of the two so you might be better off renting that unless you're going for 100% sync.

Buy Assassin's Creed. If you have that, buy Assassin's Creed II. If you have that, buy Brotherhood.
-
Just take Brotherhood. Revelations was awful.
-
I just figured because my local game store is selling Brotherhood for $15 and Revelations for $20. I was planning on getting 3 anyway, but was bored from my existing game library because the last game I bought was ME3...on its release day. I guess I'll try brotherhood, and if I feel like spending $20 dollars, I'll get revelations.
-
Rent and race trough them. The story is pretty much pointless, but it'll help for AC3. [Edited on 10.04.2012 3:37 PM PDT]

Buy Brotherhood. I think it has a better story than Revelations and Cesare Borgia is badass. Also, you can get The DaVinci Disappearance. But if you are an Assassin's Creed fan dont skip on Revelations.
-
Assuming you already played 1 and 2, buy brotherhood.

Brotherhood. I couldn't even play Revelations past segment 3.

Brotherhood was great. Recruiting Assassins and leveling them up is addicting as -blam!-. Most of mine were chicks too. I have yet to play Revelations.
-
I recommend waiting for Assassin's Creed 3. Don't get Revelations or Brotherhood.

To understand the story you need to play Brotherhood before Revelations.
-
Don't listen to anyone above me... Revelations is the best game so far in the series bar none! The person below me knows what they are talking about!
Posted by: Mac12 Yeah just look up Revelation's ending on YouTube. That's all you need so you know what's happening in AC3.
Assassins Creed's story has been needlessly overcomplicated. I would definitely prefer it just follow the events of the past assassins as opposed to mixing in the present, and all the Gods and Goddesses it throws at you for no good reason. They're both mediocre filler, rent them instead.

I still haven't beaten brotherhood, actually. I was hooked on AC2, that game was amazing. Then, I bought Brotherhood, got bored, and stopped playing it. I'll finish it one day!
-
But I need to play all of them!
Posted by: S 24993 JAMES Brotherhood. Don't buy Revelations. Just don't.
Brotherhood was pretty boss though.

Neither. I don't play nicely with chapters. To me only AC1, AC2 and AC3 exist.
