The Reverse Mail Sack is alive. Well, I suppose you could say that is has been live ever since you sounded off in the original discussion topic, but we have published an article to provide proof that we actually read it. All of it. For hours. In a blinding snow storm.
Since all of you already failed Marty's Challenge (if only you knew the prize that will go unclaimed), perhaps you can solve Noah's Challenge. The usual swag is in play. Post your answer here.

I Completely Agree , Currently learning binary and using ALT + Numpad to decode codes
-
I told you it would be a binary challenge.
-
What I learned from this week's sack: Everyone on this site should never have a vote for game of the year. and I feel we owe Marty a cookie for successfully stumping the entire Bungie community.

Maybe Hum it but that wouldn't work well either. Not really a stumping question, just not to practical. I have seen a few episodes of Sea Hunt, it is a good show. :p

That was a good read. I knew there would be witty responses. A nice change of pace for a week. It sucks the thread for posting closed right when I was about to post my reply, but hey there's always next time.

Awesome, my answers made it in there. I enjoyed the reverse mail sack, thanks.

Even if you don't know it, you could always, oh I don't know... Research it?...
Nobody learns the actual codes, the eight bit word grouping is a giveaway that it's ascii, but i held out a hope it was something a touch more complicated than a straight conversion. Could've at least thrown a substitution or playfair cypher in with a cryptic clue for the key.

Will you face us on the battlefield? http://www.bungie.net/fanclub/bungiearmybf3pc/Group/GroupHome .aspx

A reverse sack, I like it.
Posted by: DeeJ
Posted by: DE4THINC4RN4TE I see were back to the 5 minute challenges.
Please don't expect me to curate pages upon pages of art (and all of the resulting previews of said art) every week. Some of these will still be lighting round challenges. I liked Noah's cryptic message, along with the fact that it was an invitation to play games.
I know I'm being selfish, but those challenges are just so darn fun.

Yay, knew that Kirk answer was epic enough. :)

Look at that I missed the mail sack. Damn you Autodesk!
-
Answer to first question: Skymaze. It's a delightful read that incorporates technology with adventure, in the real world.
-
I shall face you on the battlefield Time and place is all I need in order to log in and defeat your digital avatar.
-
You didn't choose my answer DeeJ...lock your doors, I'm coming for ya.
-
Nice read!
-
So, DeeJ, in the end, was it worth it to reverse the role of the Mail Sack call? In a way, I kind of like your experiment researching the answer from the community for the game developers. You really opened a whole new doors for us to ask and discuss.
-
Thanks for switching things up. It was fun reading about my fellow community members, and it was fun to have somethIng new.
-
Now that I think about it, I probably shouldn't have written those essays.. no matter how good they were.

Still a good read-through though, a very nice switchup from the usual.
