He wasn't doing anything wrong either.
I say this is unacceptable.
Posted by: A Dumb Door Wait... He srsly got arrested for helping that kid getting bullied?
There is stopping a bully from hurting a kid, and then there's assault with a weapon.

That kid with the bat is my hero. I love seeing jackasses get hit with baseball bats.
Posted by: xZell_Falconx I don't think it is real
YOU'RE NOT REAL!

Maybe 1 swing or hit him until he fell. But hit him when he is on the ground? Just no...
-
That's so fake lmao
-
Very old but hilarious
-
And you wonder why bullies are so rampant.

Where did it say he got jail time? And this isn't vigilantism. He was stopping a crime while it was being committed, not administering justice after the fact. I would be surprised if this makes it to court. He was acting to save the other young man, who was clearly being beaten. He acted using a reasonable amount of force, actually less than what a peace officer would have used (personally I would have loved to watch that bully writhe in pain with 20,000 volts from a cops taser). Please link us the rest of the article, I would like to know more.
Posted by: xIPhRicTioNIx So this guy just so happens to walk around in costume with a bat?
Nice one. I don't know why, but I'm pretty sure I laughed harder at this post than any other I've seen.
Posted by: ExquisiteDragon He won't be convicted. This has happened to me countless times. You're only arrested and taken in for questioning. If it's clear that you were acting in the defense of self or another than you'll be fine.
so you like to walk around in a cape hitting people with baseball bats?

That child will grow up to be The Batman!
Posted by: M0 iz 2 BEAST He wasn't doing anything wrong either.
He beat a kid with a bat. You don't see anything wrong with that?He could have simply pulled him off of him, but instead he hit him in the back with a bat. That's assault.

Seeing as how he used a bat, I can see why he got jail time.

You can't solve a crime with a crime.
Actually you are incorrect. You can use violence to stop a crime. He didn't take it too far. He hit the bully enough times to let the other boy escape. and then he ran off. If he stopped and bashed the bully's brains in, then yes, that is assault. But he didn't. Believe it or not, people used to be required to step in if they witnessed this sort of thing. That isn't the case anymore, but he didn't commit a crime.

I want to buy that kid a drink.

maybe a week of detention for the Rorschach kid. He could have seriously injured the kid without realizing it. but I think the bully should most definitely be suspended for at least a good month

quite sure that's fake...
