I really liked the first one, pardon the somewhat repeptive parts in the middle.
And a while ago, Viscereal (Spelling?) released a job opening with a description along the lines of "You will be required to create areas in game for the sequel to our latest IP that will revolutionize the action/melee genre."
So, is anyone else in the flood stoked to see where Viscereal will go with this?
And sadly, it will take a very long time until we see anything confirmed. :(

It sold 1 million by may 11.
considering the production cost it was not what they expected. Jonathon Knight now produces Facebook games which, apparently, are much more profitable.

The game is soo damn oversexed,Naked women boss? Womens with dick growing trick? Hearing people screaming all the time! The creators of the game must been fat.

I didn't get too far in the first game, but it seemed like a really meh game, smack dab around 5-6/10.
Posted by: theHurtfulTurkey That would be pretty stupid on the developer's part...Dante's Inferno: Purgatory? It would be "The Divine Comedy: Purgatory". To call it "Dante's Inferno 2: Purgatory" would be very lame.
Lol, that was lame on my part. They haven't released any other form of confirmation on it, but I used the first game's title so that people would know what im referring to.

I hope they make a sequel, loved Dante's Inferno!
Posted by: mount420 The game is lame, and one taking place in Purgatory will be lamer.
It depends on taste and a lot of people compared it to GoW. I thought the game was fun, it was nice to return to basic combos and linear hallways/puzzles. Reminds me of playing the ps2 LOTR games when I was younger.
Posted by: valker
Posted by: Puma Knight I doubt it. Why would there be conflict in purgatory? The point of purgatory is to account for your sins so you can go to heaven. Eventually, Dante is going to heaven anyway. On a side note, I actually just got to Purgatorio in The Divine Comedy last night.
I see what your trying to say, but, without spoilers, there is DEFINITELY a conflict in purgatorio, at least in the game. You must understand that the game is adapted from the poem, not directly ripped from it at most points. That's why dante is a testerone filled warrior, not a poet. But again, if you beat the game you will understand why there is a conflict.
Oh, well I haven't beat the game yet. I am working on it, though. School, however, takes up all of my time. Read it from cover to cover last year.
It has been great so far, but the dialogue between character is hard to understand. But I guess that is what you get for translating a poem from an older form of a foreign language. Also, it would help if I actually had time to site down and read it. The only time I get to is five minutes I wait before class starts. Because of this, it has taken me months to read just Inferno and I can't even remember most of it.
