Some crimes deserve worse than death, and it would be doing our own sense of morality a disservice to use a lesser punishment than death.[/quote]The only problem would be in cases where the person killed may only have LOOKED guilty to the vigilante party. Then, the damage cannot be undone, an innocent life was ended. However, if the innocent party just had, say, a broken leg, then at least they can live to see another day.
