6 RepliesHumanity is on a sharp decline. Partly due to obscene behavior being celebrated if not encouraged. Partly due to people's sense of entitlement, which has become insanely over-inflated as of late. And Partly because humans as a species are fairly cruel and sadistic, especially when hidden behind the internet where the odds of them having to swallow their own teeth drastically decline when acting like a worthless human.

6 RepliesPvp side of the game: They suck at other competitive games so they use this one to save their fragile ego. Pve side of the game: They watched a youtuber clear endgame content so they stole their kit and demand everyone plays like them.

Lots of factors. F2P population that mixes with paid players, competitive pvp and pve, heavy use of FOMO and skinner box design. Honestly given all the anti-consumer and and at this point old mmo design elements it's actually impressive that D2s community isn't worse. Don't get me wrong the D2 community is not good, but it's not classic WoW bad.

Try playing blizzard games just started destiny a couple months ago and everyone is way friendlier here.

It's really the devs that create the toxicity in the community. Never before have I played a game with devs that appear to almost hate their players. A quick example is their need to treat each class like some poli tical thing to pit us against esch other like someone else said. I always played all 3 classes. I never understood how this or that is always this or that class's fault. Or why we still have to manually change our kill trackers when games like Warframe have every stat tracked on every weapon. These small things that are just anti-consumer really add up and embitter everyone playing the game. I've never encountered devs that have mistreated their community so badly. Coming from Warframe, I've been shocked as to how most of the community is washed over into thinking that a lot of this treatment is normal. The bar for people is so low that it's disheartening. The comparison to Bungie being an abusive ex is something that unfortunately always holds true.

You do realize that it the individual that at fault not the whole community right each player act of their own free will and any issue is that player issue not the whole issue.
