Warlords Ruin is fun... but
Where are the weapon drops?
Me and a close friend two manned it today, first time for both of us and we had fun figuring things out and we were keen to try any new gear out. That is if any weapons actually dropped.
Two full runs from fresh resulted in a single weapon drop, I have 6 new pairs of trousers though 🤔
Something needs to be done about armour drops in this game, 100% of armour I'm receiving is deleted.
Update:
3rd run was all armour including two helmets from final chest.
4th run yielded 2 weapons. Bow and Sidearm, terrible perks but it was actually nice to try them out, that Sidearm has some potential so I'm hoping to get more of these.

First encounter is farmable. Kill 1st boss, open prison for chest, then restart the dungeon. Did this the other day to get a god roll sidearm

Welcome to destiny. Rng has been the biggest enemy since d1. Luckily for you, the warlord ruin is the new dungeon for the current season. You can keep running the new dungeon until your eyes bleed and get the gear after every successful encounter. If you wait until next season (June 7) you will only get stuff once per week per character unless the dungeon is in the rotation.

Agree. There should be a new title available... Bond Master. And I would have gilded it multiple times already.

One of the things that always throws this off with the dungeons is the bonus chests assuming you opened them. Initially the bonus chests can only drop those items you have already had drop from an encounter. So your first few runs inevitably tend to be a multiple of whatever you dropped in the first encounter. Getting everything in dungeons does unfortunately require either a lot of luck or a lot of farming. If you are trying to get/unlock specific items then google a loot table and you can farm specific encounters.

1 ReplyYou would be disappointed with the weapon drops. As much of a BS Dungeon Ghost of The Deep is, the weapons from there is way higher quality than Warlord’s Ruin’s even though Warlord’s far better as a actual Dungeon gameplay wise

It's different for everyone. My clan mate got nothing but sidearms the first 2 times we ran it. Of course, that was before he or I knew how good t it was, so he deleted all of them. Lol They just need to implement a knockout for all items within an activity, then random drops after that.

I held off on buying the dungeon key for a long time, but Warlord's Ruin was actually good. I feel like I've gotten a fair mix of armor and weapons too.
