Hunter suspend is a free kill in pvp (and everyone knows it)
Going to keep it short, the suspending dive on hunters is busted. Everyone knows it. It is a free kill in trials and there is little difference between being suspended and frozen in stasis. Being able to hip fire is not real counterplay when you are put into an awkward third person with your camera bobbing up and down. Not to mention you're put up in the air where you are easy to hit. It's just pure cheese like pre nerf shatter dive and stasis warlock melee.

Nah If a higher skill player is using it, sure, but if a lower skill player (most) is using it then they’re very easy to punish with a simple shotgun blast And people can’t say I’m a Hunter trying to shield an OP ability from being nerfed cuz I only use and enjoy strand in PvE

1 ReplyI’ve literally killed a hunter every single time they suspend me like that. At least on warlock, your melee still connects since it doesn’t need to lunge so it’s a free kill for me when they do it.

Dude, it's like 2 seconds long. That basically the entire animation for recovering from the dive. By the time we can slug a shotgun into you you've already broken free. The only possible way it's as you say "broken" is if somebody else is slipping shotguns in roght next to the Hunter. In that case, don't 1v2 your enemies. They already nerfed the -blam!- out of strand enough. Stop trying to put it into the ground just because you suck at this game.

I like threadlings better. Suspend dive gets you killed against decent players. It's fun and can cheese but it's not a smart play

3 RepliesExcept you can easily bait it, and the Hunter is a sitting duck if they miss it. High risk = High reward. Just like a freezing melee, instant-kill shoulder charge, or a throwing knife.

Skill issue. skill issue. skill issue. Also a TITAN MAIN of all people crying about balance is hilarious. Maybe look at your own kit first before whining about a nothing burger ability that gets people killed more than it gets them kills.
