Ive played enough Onslaught to reset rank at least 4 times and shinies stopped dropping after Wednesday. Wednesday I had 4 total, ever since just 0

Thats straight up bullshit. I get 4 in 3 normal runs and then nothing for 4 days. Full legend done, legend farmed, normal farmed
Nothing. Garbage game.
And no, none of the year 1 players care for the regular versions of these mid weapons
A shiny should be guaranteed for 250 tokens
Or on a Legend clear, or each Legend clear works towards a shiny and 2-3 clears gives one
Because right now shinies arent special. Rarity is different from straight up dog -blam!- drop rates
Meanwhile if you dont play alot and only a few times a week the rng favors you and gives you great loot its why so many people get exotics first try after not playing a while.
You get punished for playing, I wish Sony would read these forums

Something I do to farm shiny weapons is get some buddies and just do the first 10 waves of a legend onslaught (I personally think Vostok is the easiest but it’s a preference thing) then restart. To me it’s so much faster than just running 50 waves of legend.

I've gotten 9, I average 1-2 per play session. I've kept 5. I don't have any way to test it, but the attunement system seems buggy. These are my methods: 10 sets or 50 sets I switch attunement after every Shiny drop. When I switch characters, I deactivate and reactivate. When the attuned weapon isn't dropping regularly, I deactivate and reactivate. I have 4 perk Shinys for 5 of the 6 weapons... 1 of those is a Godroll. I have every version of the weapons I want except a Frenzy Surrounded sword, and Kinetic Tremors One4All Hung Jury and a 4 perk Hung Jury. Maybe I'm lucky, but I doubt it... my rng is typically horrible.

Edited by jhermannITJ: 4/16/2024 6:44:20 AMThere's a quest/bounty for every weapon. Doing it unlocks a dedicated kiosk for said weapon located around the perimeter of the Hall of Champions. At each kiosk you can activate "attunement" which grants a rng boon for that weapon (50% drop rate).

I hope the switch flips for you Guardian, I'm on your side... that's why I made the post. Bungie could turn it up a bit, imo.
