Yet another complaint by me about prophecy and armor
I did not get a single weapon through the entire run I just had. I got coda hands after phalanx, coda hands in the secret chest, legs from cube, coda hands from second secret chest, the boss only drops moonfang armor, and I got More. -blam!-. Coda armor. From what's her face. Didn't look at what specifically because I was too mad and just deleted it without paying attention.
I understand I am in a place of relative gear wealth, to be able to complain that the armor is not and will never be worth my time, because I have had a solid two years to stuff my vault to the gills with crazy stats, more than I will ever ever use but can't let go of because if i had the mats i would mw them, but come tf on. I'm deeply annoyed and frustrated. I want good guns, not mid armor.

I farmed the first cp on the last rotation via the new clunky LFG system, which worked best when I formed a group rather than try join one; I was surprised by how fast players joined! Some of those teams did about 15-20 runs until someone bounced; then it was back to clunky LFG to find a replacement…this bit was a bit too clunky and not clear…so I had to start from scratch as the player that wanted to join - couldn’t, because the other player on the team was still present but showed s/he hadn’t joined, so we were stuck in no man’s land. 🧐 Anyhoo, tldr: got 1x gun every 4-6 clears on average, most of which were meh at best or insta-burns! Some negative runs with armour or the class item lasted up to half a dozen or more, on several occasions…🤨 I didn’t get the auto rifle roll I was after (dragonfly / voltshot) or the g-roll(s), though I got enough to not want to do this ever again!😤 Note to self: ease springs! 🫤

I mean, the armor drops are good when it's artifice, because why else would you bother with the difficulty, but yeah, on regular runs, dungeons need more weapon drops. That's like the umpteenth reason why I stopped buying dungeon keys.

It's at this point you should be asking yourself "why am I still playing?". When you find the real answer to THAT question, you won't have this problem anymore.

What's going on with comp Artifice armour? Last week I got the set from playing 6 then winning 2 and got a second set after a winning again. Played a few more for no more drops. This week I only got the first set. played all day yesterday winning/losing and it was only dropping the ordinary crucible armour. Yeah artifice armour is pointless to begin with...

It's the rigged RNG system that Bungie employed to keep you grinding. I did one run last night, the first time since the weapons update, and got TWO warlock bonds, and one team mate who had never run it before, didn't get one weapon. Don't they realize that players are wise to their cheap tactics, and instead of getting players to grind more, it actually deters them from doing more runs? If players are rewarded well for their efforts, they are bound to play more.

My last full clear plus both secrets yielded a single Relentless pulse with awful perks. I get how RNG works, but the scales on this RNG are heavily weighted on armour and that really grinds my gears. Bungie must know most people are chasing weapons here and it leaves a bad taste when it's obvious they are gating weapon drops to inflate player time.

You are better off waiting until Prophecy is the weekly featured dungeon and therefore, farmable. Then depending on which weapons you want just get the boss checkpoint and hammer it. Myself and a clanmate did just this last week, hitting the first encounter which takes only a few min when 2 up and had a good number of Prosecutor and Relentless for our troubles. (Yes the shocking RNG is also on display as I had a string of 5 runs without a weapon on more than one occasion. But when you are doing lots of runs it hurts far less.) :) The cube and final boss CP's take longer if it's the other weapons you are after.

Ive had decent luck with weapon drops but just almost 0 godrolls in whatever ridiculous amount of runs. Rng is terrible at times, Onslaught shiny droprate is absolutely -blam!- for me. 0 drops in 4 days now. Just getting tired of this rat race

I definitely understand your pain lol, but it's destiny it's a part of the game and that grind to get that god roll you want is a part of the fun.
