Honestly Bungie poor form regarding the Brave weapon drops drip feeding players.
I understand you want player engagement across the weeks to play the new mode to earn the new weapons, but let’s throw a hypothetical in here.
Week1 weapon drops that everyone wants and farms for then the following weeks you have weapons that some people don’t want to farm for and then in the final few weeks you have weapons players want again.
I know this probably wont be the case but all those middle weeks in this hypothetical scenario won’t be as populated, just dead space.
Where as if you had all weapons available and able to focus on weapons of the players choice you would see more players populating the new mode trying to get the 5/5 rolls then move on to the next weapon, rinse and repeat.
Also not to mention you may have some players that can’t jump on for certain days or weeks and let’s say the weapon they wanted drops on the week they have prior commitments, they just miss out of getting the weapon they wanted to farm for? I understand people will just reply to this as ah well that’s just bad luck isn’t it? Yes it is bad luck but not fair on the player with commitments, not everyone can drop everything at the drop of a hat.
It’s all just a bit slack seeing as some of these weapons we earned originally were taken away from us with the mass extinction sunset event that at the end of the day wasn’t necessary at all.
Sorry for the long rant essay folks, it doesn’t look like I’m the only one that’s dissatisfied though.
