if you can't authenticate it then you can't remove it. you'll have to work with xbox support to regain access to it - bungie will not forcibly unlink any accounts that you can't authenticate

I have already tried that and they said i need to get with bungie to get that figured out.

Then you asked the wrong question. You need to work with Xbox support to specifically regain access to your Xbox account. Nothing more, nothing less.

Unfortunately bungie doesn't store our login information. Only xbox can help you. If they refuse your cross save is permanent.

Based on their response to you, you said the issue was that you couldn't access the account to unlink it from your Bungie.net profile, so they said you needed to work with Bungie, since that's the problem you said you had. As the other poster stated, you told them the wrong issue. Your issue is that you can't access the account; you need to work with them to recover that account, and that's the issue you need to state to them and work with them for. Don't mention that it's because it's linked to your Bungie.net profile, or it may confuse the representative again and lead to them saying you need to contact Bungie again.
