First souls game I am playing

I finally got Elden Ring, my first ever souls game, man this is so different to me, I'm more used to Diablo IV and Skyrim but this is something new for me. I have learned some movement but haven't mastered movement and combat yet, I have attempted many times to kill the evil-mage-wolf-puppy and almost got him but he can catch you off guard quickly. I rate this game so far a solid 10/10, absolutely amazing graphics and atmosphere, a very solid feeling RPG that is fun and challenging. I have much to learn...

  • Ok so after you beat it if you want to play another one play dark souls one for slower combat, three for relative speed compared to elden ring then play bloodborn play dark soul two last, demon souls is a game you should play only if you really like these game, Have a good day.

    • Explore Limgrave and The weeping peninsula to the south before making your way to storm veil. What class/playstyle do you plan on adapting?

    • I do not have the time to get good at souls games anymore. I played quite a lot of the first one when it came out, but now if I’m not properly enjoying myself then my gaming time is wasted, and the pleasure of finally beating an enemy takes too long now. It’s why I could never get into beat-em-ups really, i just never really found the grind satisfying. Give me a hard--blam!- puzzle game anyday.

    • Sekiro and Bloodborne are the best outside of the series. The best Dark Souls game is 3.

    • Yeah combat can be a lil wild. After a few months of not playing and then suddenly coming back to Elden Ring. It was rough. (Mainly cause I’ve been playing Warframe and Helldivers 2 during those few months…) If anything, dodging past and behind the target is a good strategy. Also dodging into the blade cuz i-frames. Jump attacks are also really good. Don’t forget those dmg resistance consumables. You can always make more. Good luck. And remember, git gud.
if you want some more fun, definitely try Bloodborne and Armored Core 6. Fun stuff. Beautiful games with beautiful combat.
• Elden Ring’s pretty good, and I’m glad it’s pulling people into the.. “Franchise”, I suppose. It’s not technically a single franchise, but I’m sure you know what I mean. I’d recommend all 3 Dark Souls & Bloodborne, though. Most, if not all of them are better than Elden Ring, imo.

      • Word of advice, once you're done in the academy you're going to be pointed to Leyndell in the Altus Plateau. Its a high level area, don't go there till your level 90. Otherwise you're going to have a rough time like i did on my first play through. Till then do some exploring cause the game has a lot of stuff you can easily miss out on

      • Go Ghost Wolf! I look forward to future posts from you regarding Elden RIng, I love discussions about the game.
Praise the Ring!

Also, if your dying to Red Wolf of Radagon A LOT (It's fine your first time lol) then you might want to go kill some bosses and level up, as his hp pool is small so you should be able to trade some blows w/ him but your hits should do a lot more dmg. Just a potentially helpful advice you don't have to listen to me.
