Found a Taken Egg in the Dreaming City
I was doing the seasonal quest where you had to kill oracles/taken in three areas. Unfortunately, I don't remember what the name of the area I was in was called, but I found the egg next to a statue. I had queensfoil active if that makes any difference.

Yes, there are 9 Eggs that are out in the public (patrol) zones. They are a part of the 40 Corrupted Eggs collection needed for the Corrupted Omelette triumph and the Harbinger's Echo exotic sparrow.

Yeah, part of the original Forsaken release. At least new players can still do the old quest. However I don't know anyone who has the patience.
