The ahamkara bones.

I noticed something about the ahamkara when I was looking at the giant ahamkara skeleton in the middle of the final boss arena in WR. I noticed that the skull has some kind of tusks. I also saw these tusks on the ahamkara skull hanging above Shaxx. But when we see Riven who is an ahamkara in the flesh she doesn’t have tusks. So is it just for male ahamkara? Or is it the bone inside their weird flapper jaws? If the ahamkara skull found floating with the other bones in the final boss arena are part of the same skeleton then ahamkara have very small heads. Also the ahamkara bones found in the dungeon behind the locked doors are very small. About the size of the skull on YAS. Considering the name Young Ahamkara Spine these are baby ahamkara. —-——-———————— Kinda off the topic of ahamkara bones: Do young ahamkara posses less wish magic than the full grown adults?

  • They’re shapeshifters and take on different forms. I’m not sure if riven is the true form or just a form but they can be any size and any appearance.

  • While they can shapeshift, they’ve been called wish dragons.

  • Riven in particular has been confirmed by the lore to be capable of shapeshifting, apparently able to change both her size and the features of her body with relative ease as found in the following lore entries: https://www.ishtar-collective.net/entries/riven?highlight=Riven+size https://www.ishtar-collective.net/entries/throne?highlight=Riven+shape In addition, the lore entry for the Transfiguration scout rifle suggests that other Ahamkara may have been capable of similar feats, albeit with the direct aide of Wish Magic: https://www.ishtar-collective.net/entries/transfiguration?highlight=Transfiguration As such the natural morphology of the Ahamkara as a species is difficult to get a firm grasp on due to our limited interaction with living specimens as well as clear evidence that the effects of Wish Magic persist after the death of the Ahamkara from which a given wish was granted (ie. the Curse on the Dreaming City).
