When using leg mods to get the elemental surge, I know this applies to the weapon used of same element. Void surge, void weapon etc. My question is this: does surge work on Hard Light? (For any who may not know) Hard Light is an exotic AR with default Void element, but can be cycled to Arc and Solar. I've used this with leg mods for surge, but haven't noticed any buff to DPS. Is it just that small a buff, or is it because Hard Light isn't a one element specific rifle? I tried Void surge with a Void-only rifle and noticed an increase to DPS. I may have answered my own question, but wanted to see if anyone else had options/advice about best use of surge mods.
