Platinum sparrow missing

Platinum Medal seasonal challenge reward missing
Upon completion of the Platinum Medal seasonal challenge, the associated exotic sparrow appears to be glitched.
If there is no space in player's inventory, on claiming reward sparrow will state it has been sent to the Postmaster, however upon inspection it has not (Postmaster inventory was empty at the time).
Sparrow is unlisted in collections, leaving no way to obtain.
Appears to have been completely deleted from game.
Assistance appreciated.

I have no idea how you’re supposed to get it back. I think it’s a known issue that the Platinum triumph sparrow isn’t appearing in collections, so that could explain why you can’t obtain it from the postmaster. Guess the only option is to wait for Bungie to fix the issue.
