The simplest outlook to have, and I hope you take this to heart, is as follows: Screw Them. It sounds to me as though they're feeling threatened by your rapid improvement, regardless of the time and energy you put in, and are just trying to undercut your credibility and bolster their own in the process. Don't let their insecurities shake your game. You earned your standing, it's not your problem they're scared. Of course, MY Trials score is hovering around 0.29 (maybe), so what do I know?

I don't think they're doing it out of jealousy or anything, it's most likely as Joshazorr said in another comment. recovs are so incredibly common now that it's hard to believe someone with such a steep improvement could actually be legitimately improving. It doesn't make it right obviously to keep calling OP a recov, but it isn't entirely their fault. The same thing happens in a lot of games, where a player that is actually incredibly talented gets banned for cheating even though they were playing legit, all because a bunch of people can't believe anyone can actually be that good without cheating nowadays

That may be true, but as the other poster (is that right?) stated, if game stats were checked before they started crying foul, the whole thing wouldn't have been an issue. As you said, someone could get banned simply because a person didn't exercise their due diligence before discrediting them. I feel that demonstrates indifference to the consequences the wrongfully accused party could face.

that is true as well. nobody should make baseless accusations without the proper evidence to back it up. if someone is taking the time to dive into your personal stats, they could at least make sure they are thorough when looking through your account, so that they don't misunderstand and cause a disturbance over nothing. also, you were close. op stands for original poster

I meant the individual you referred to in your post. I didn't want to name drop as I know Bungie frowns on that. Granted, that individual also posted here, but why chance it? And thank you, I'm still learning the forum lingo. I don't know how long it took me before I figured out what TL;DR meant. That one confused the hell out of me. Would it kill Bungie to add some sort of lexicon or Rosetta stone or something? Man, I'm outdated, lol.
