So, ever since i started playing D2 at launch i have always had a problem with lag ONLY within PVP Activites (Cruicible, gambit ect). This caused me to stop playing the game originally, i have since returned to start playing again around 1-2months ago and the problem still persists.
I have tried everything i can think of also this is only a problem in destiny i have never encountered this issue in any other game i have played (alot of variety pvp games). I'm just at a loss and i really like how pvp feels i do want to play it but i have already had an in-game bungie notification about my connection which is only from pvp & people messaging me, so i don't really have any other choice but to avoid pvp activites.
My internet isn't great but it's stable, as i said iv'e never encountered this problem in other game whatsoever not even to a smaller degree.
Things i've tried:
- No bandwidth on my network is being used
- Closed all programs and only ran Destiny
- Turned off Firewall
- Created Firewall Inbound/Outbound Rules
- Allowed full admin access to Destiny/Battleeye
- Port Forwarding
- Tried UpNP
- Also DMZ
Maybe a few other things i haven't listed, i've been dealing with this for a while and i don't usually post on forums or that but thought it might be worth a try if anyone has any suggestions/experience with a similar problem. Thank you

Edited by Astral Dark: 11/22/2022 2:27:53 AMYour connection is likely too slow for the data requirements as Destiny 2 uses a P2P networking model which requires a lot more bandwidth than something like Call of Duty. Particularly in the upload metric. Simultaneously, anyone else in the match with a bad connection can bork your connection. (more likely with 12 players than 3 in a pve strike or something) here is an old video but it lays it out pretty well so you can understand... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=90RMYlWBe2Y
