I made the mistake of attempting to link my steam account to my new PS5 account during this window of time that cross save was disabled (I just now saw the twitter post). I misunderstood what the instructions we're to enable cross save so after linking my PSN to my account I went ahead and proceeded past the the cross save pop up screen assuming I had correctly linked my account. Now on my PS5 Destiny 2 account I am at the select class/create character screen whereas I would like to set my Steam account as my primary account and use those guardians. Have I completely messed up in doing this, making it so I can no longer use cross save? If not could someone please let me know how to proceed.
