Clarification for Code of Conduct

DMG04 recently retweeted the CoC and having read it again, some parts make me worried about potentially having been breaking them for a long time. Most of that boils down to "where is the line drawn?". Discussions of sensitive topics like politics and religion – outside the context of in-game story elements. Last I checked, Bungie supports reproductive rights, and fights for their black and / or trans employees. They openly tweet how they will "never stop being political". Why can't we? Whenever I play Destiny with my friends, we talk about all sorts of thing. This game is a connection between people, and we do more than just mindlessly shoot things. We share our worries, process heavy things together and talk about the world we're living in. Living in Finland, which shares a border with Russia, sometimes certain topics come up. Simply being a woman, certain other topics are brought up occasionally. Being a lesbian woman increases the range of those topics. My core group has a wide variety of beliefs, worldviews, dreams and hopes, all of which by definition are political. Most of these friends live around the world, in countries with all kinds of problems too, because that's life. Where is the line drawn and why? Am I, and my friends, at risk for simply talking about our lives and lived experiences? This doesn't make sense to me. Compromising the player experience by circulating spoilers, hacks, or cheats. This one makes sense, but where is the line drawn? Is it okay, while playing with strangers or friends, to casually mention "hey have y'all heard King's Fall is coming back?" or "somebody told me there was a datamine that says the next season is about fallen pirates, what do you think about that?" before any official announcements were made? There's a few double standards I have questions about, but in my experience simply asking about them will result in a warning / ban. This thread was made in good faith, because the main page, and it's detail subpage didn't answer my concerns.
