The problem is with this year and how they’ve been pushing to force us to pay in literally every corner of the game. Sony literally bought them for billions and your telling me that they don’t have money??

Its not directly funding Destiny 2 as well, all of that money goes to all of Bungies current projects (which they are obviously working on other games). Ultimately you and I dont know how they fund Destiny 2, they could be funding the games projects by all money the game itself makes. But TLDR: just because Sony bought them it doesn’t mean that money goes to Bungie for Destiny 2 its more like them saying “we want you to make games and projects for us so take this payment and work for us” its up to Sony to fund Destiny 2 and even then why the hell would they stop what they are doing its making them money and everyday that passes Developers become more business oriented which makes sense since making better and better games cost more and mroe expensive equipment.

i completely agree with what u said rn but i was replying to the fact that you said bungie doesn’t have funding and I wanted to say they have the money if they are willing to continue investing into the game
