Man, when they put it in films or TV shows too. Random "love" making encounter that literally does nothing to progress the overall story, or has no bearing in the overall story...
It's even better when you think about it in terms of actual relationships...like dude you smashed, the world's ending, that relationship was doomed before the end came...let's be real, you thought with hormones.

Look at cartoons as well. If you haven't seen shows like Steven universe. They have entertainment but then they got [i]preachy.[/i] There's also a DC comic series of individuals where their power is their identity. Like I said, it's okay if people want to explore that depth but it's "importance" oversold and overstated. It becomes tasteless and bland.
