They need to forget about lobby balancing and focus on fixing the sandbox interaction between players. Destiny's PvP feels less like a PvP so much as it does a gimmicky cheese arena filled with OHK guns ran full time, janky movement encouraged (both defensively and offensively) by the overly-generous hit registration of pretty much all weapons, TTK power creep of primaries to help them keep up with special weapons and aforementioned movement, third party software abuse running basically unchecked, etc. Crucible's problems with matchmaking seems trivial in comparison to these things. Player combat in general needs an overhaul.

 • One of the issues is a matter of "He said She said" that stems from the player skill divide. High skill killed by some cheesy -blam!- someone worse than them used, low skills getting creamed by weapons the high skill players use, both complain. I feel like we need to level out the player skill gap first, then see what the thoughts are. Will the low skill players complain about the cheese now? Will the high skill players complain about primary weapons next? That's a trick question, everyone always complains.

 • Yeah, nobody is coming back for this garbage. There are better pvp experiences. I honestly cant believe D2 still makes money.

 • I absolutely agree. Skill based match making to an extent is welcome, but the things you mentioned are far more important. I’ve tried here and there for the last year or so to get into destiny 2 pvp again just for something to do since I like shooting stuff in destiny. It’s just impossible these days though. The problems I have are stupidly unbalanced guns because of crazy perk interactions between gear now and so on, and then just about everything else you mentioned. Destiny pvp would be well off with a loose sbmm change, but it would grow with the changes you listed.
