Can't redeem emblem

Hi there, I've noticed that if you compleet the Bashing success triumph you can redeem an emblem in rewards. Why can't I redeem it after completing it???

You have to redeem in Bungie Digital Rewards while signed into your account, then the emblem will be in game under collections-Flair-Emblems-General
