We don’t need another exotic rocket launcher to be worse than gjallarhorn

Considering dragons breath was higher damage than Ghorn if the enemy took full damage it would work quite well in D2 where most bosses barely move
-
First off, HERESY. Secondly, Dragonsbreath has zero tracking and literally just turns the floor to Lava. As long as you can jump and don't get trapped in a cramped area close to the ground, Dragonsbreath is just a really strong Witherhoard that doesn't infect other targets. Thirdly, CEASE YOUR HERESY.
-
Bosses don’t rly jump tho
-
That's more for players. Gjallarhorn is a threat in PvP for everyone, but Dragonsbreath wouldn't be as bad...provided you're able to jump far enough from the ground and don't get trapped in tight spaces.
-
Tru but could be good for overtime trials Plus it’s rare that ppl use exotic heavies in pvp
-
...Then why would it matter? Either people gamble on using an Exotic Heavy to deny a zone, limiting their primary options, or they equip literally any meta Exotic and run that. Besides, even if you turn the capture zone to lava, you're still vulnerable as you sit inside to capture it, and shutdown supers do still exist.
-
That’s what I’m saying? I’m supporting dragons breath I’m just saying it doesn’t matter about ghally outdoing dragons breathe in pvp cuz barely anyone uses an exotic heavy
-
Now I want a solar witherhoard and knowing I'll never get it makes me sad lol
-
Ghorn isn’t even close to being the best as is and more variety never hurts. Dragon’s Breath was a pretty unique weapon functionally speaking.
-
Yes it is
-
There are legendary rockets that do more damage. Ghorn is only good because it increases the damage if said legendary rockets.

Edited by Darkwireman: 6/7/2022 5:21:15 PMAnd the tracking + Wolfpack Rounds makes it a menace in PvP/Gambit. Nobody is saying Gjallarhorn isn't a great weapon, but it's true value comes from buffing Legendary launchers of nearby allies.
