Oh wow. Wasn’t expecting to see something like this on the forums lol. I checked out the instrumental you linked and man it’s super solid! The horns are very destiny with the rest giving me a final fantasy vibe (love ff osts)
I personally have been producing instrumentals for a very long time myself (think 13 or 14 years by now?). Never got any proper classes for that, mostly YouTube taught lmao. All though most of mine is rap, and rnb and that is my main focus, I’ve been a gamer since I was a kid and gain a lot of inspiration from game soundtracks.
I want to say working with bungie on a soundtrack someday is on the bucket list as well.

Hey! Thanks!! Yeah that piece was the first one I did! I definitely have a strong Japanese influence in my music as well. I grew up playing Final Fantasy/kingdom Hearts too! That is another side project I'm doing is a demo JRPG Soundtrack. I have a few more Destiny tracks on the channel plus I've been thinking about trying to get into voice acting. I do impressions all the time lol!! I've been in music for a long time and I love it! I love being creative! I'll def check out some of your stuff too!!

That sounds awesome man! You have a lot of potential. I would probably even try getting into sync licensing that could be a great start to trying to build some credentials. That’s personally an option I wanted to take on with the music (the current thing has been just beat selling for me) but I’ve actually been building up my gaming destiny channel and hope that maybe one day that can afford me more time to pursue music in that way as well. (Trying to balance both and do both at the same time is very difficult for me, when I have work, as well as needing time with the lady, and trying to workout) I’m definitely gonna have to go back to your channel and check those voice acting as impressions!

Yeah hear ya most of the time I'm working too so I try to do work on these projects when I can. Hopefully I can get my stuff to the right people. I did meet Halo/Destiny composer Marty O'Donnell. Hes listened to my tracks and liked them a bunch!

It’s definitely not an easy path. Idk if you ever saw but there was another person who actually made a whole soundtrack based off what they thought the witch queen ost would sound like. It was actually very well composed, even mixing familiar notes from the taken king. Oh yeah I saw that one!! And I also met guy who also did some fan scoring too! And we live near each other! The music world is super small!! Who know maybe the best thing is to just create my own group and we can produce our own stuff!

This is very true lol. That’s three of us that we know of just in this community. I be thinking I’m something special telling people I make beats, jut to find out they got a friend who does or they themselves have a musical background lmao. Music lives in us all that’s for sure lol. Hey maybe you should!

Yeah music is great! I agree it definitely lives in all of us even if people say they aren't creative at least they can appreciate it!
