Bring back eat your nade to proc devour

When devour got transferred to void 3.0, bungie removed the ability for you to eat your grenade to proc devour, saying that it would clash with chaos accelerant. This heavily damaged devour in PvP as procing it now is much more difficult and you no longer have control over when it happens. Why not make it so chaos accelerant takes priority over feed the void, it wouldn't adversely affect anything else in the game For example, if you ran only feed the void, then you could eat your grenade, but if you ran both feed the void and chaos accelerant then you would charge your grenade instead.

  • I hate what they did they ruined my melees and now this. Consuming your gernade was far superior then an exotic paring. You need to have witch queen you need to run empowering rifts you need to have a specfic exotic equipped. Previously devour on command through eating your gernade is better and always will be. It had great synergy being tied to eating your gernade with weapons that had demolition and even better if they also had pulse monitor. Further granting a faster cooldown when you had devour proc'd and got kills with devour up already. You could run either empowering or healing rift and has great exotic parings with the stag, aeon souls, eye of another world etc... Now that playstyle is dead and needs extra steps tied to a much longer cooldown. One you need witch queen to ever have access to devour on command. Now you need to equip the exotic and put on empowering rift.
